I offer a 20 minute initial call, no charge - so we can gently explore your issues and to see whether counselling is right for you.
I also offer a 50 minute face to face / online or phone non-obligatory assessment for £60, so we can see how we can work together and whether I am the right counsellor for you.
It is important that you feel secure and comfortable with the choice that you make, so this is a non obligatory appointment where at the end you will able to go away and think things over without any pressure to rebook an appointment unless you are sure that you would like to commit to further sessions. A professional counsellor will encourage and respect this choice.
The amount of sessions you require will depend on the issues that you bring to counselling and this will be negotiated with you when we agree our working contract together. I usually work in an open ended way, however I can also work in a time limited way so if you require a specific amount of sessions to work in a more focused way, we can discuss this too.

The work we do will be regularly reviewed to check how things are going when we will loo at progress and your original objectives. It often becomes apparant to both client and counsellor when the client has naturally come to the end of their counselling journey. An ethical counsellor will always consider this and discuss with you.
1 hour supervision - £60
1.5 hours supervision - £85
